@yancybutler You must be the stupidest person ever. Everyone knows, that if you don't have a good drummer in your band, your whole band sucks. Drums and bass are the most important thing in a rock band and especially drums. Just think about some rock bands, Led Zepplin-John Bonham, The Who-Keith Moon, Rush-Neil Peart, Nirvana-Dave Grohl etc. You just can't have a rock band without drums

It's your opinion that drums and bass are essential and the most "important thing" All parts are very important-however the lyrics, the passion, the vocals can go as far as they need to go to get where they need to be, Ever hear of Patti Smith? or folk rock? mmmhhmmm sooo important. Alanis is as folk as she is rock.
