Why is Japanese music media inclined to believe every new band member was picked from the audience at their last concert? I've seen several interviews where they seem to think this new member was playing in his garage one day and touring with a professsional rock band the following week. They did this with Marc Ford when he joined with The Black Crowes in 92. I guess researching their music guests isn't part of their preliminaries.
