I had the good fortune of being in a band with him waaaaaaaaay before the TSO days and he is one of the most gifted, talented, giving performers you'll ever see. He's also an amazing composer and clinician (he runs sting programs at schools teaching kids that it's "cool to play violin" on top of everything else). This must have been an incredible concert to be at live. I knew he did big venues and he's just totally going all out and truly in his element at this one!

Live is without a doubt better. There isn't a single video on youtube or anywhere else that gives you the true feeling of actually being there. Especially being front row with some of my favorite musicians literally getting in my face, like on this vid. Mark was going to come to my high school, but he couldn't because it was during the early stages of this tour. Was it his "Mark Wood Experience" show you saw?
