  • If you missed Ian with The Doors, you really missed a show. Spooky, he really channeled Morrison a couple of times. Did a top notch job!

Edie didn't have much to do with V. U. except having the same friends and being replaced by Nico at one point. Read her biography. Tragic little rich girl. Prolly bi-polar and just self-medicated. Sad.

  • First time hearing this version and it soo good, thanks for posting

  • HER EYES LOOK LIKE THEY COULD STEAL YOUR SOUL

  • Beautiful version of a favorite :)

  • Beautiful rendition! A favorite, Always ...

  • Hi... Edie Sedgewick had nothing to do with the Velvet Underground, really, apart from the fact that they wrote 'Femme Fatale' about her.

Thanks for posting this track, though... it's a classic.

  • @loopstheloop Well yes, the "Femme Fatale" is about Edie, and she also danced for the Velvet Underground with Gerard Malanga during the Up-Tight show. Gerard wrote a book abut those events: "Up-Tight: The Velvet Underground Story". Also, Edie dated John Cale for a while.

  • He should record this version, it rocks.
