Not the voice of Pava but this young man has "it"! The resonance, the tone, the color, the support, definitely the emotion. If he is careful--I look forward to hearing great things form him for a long time!
To me, he is the only one that could be Pavarotti's successor. Their techniques are similar thought the Maestro had a bigger instrument. Vittorio beats Maestro in the looks department though, which seem to be important now a days.
@TheAleph74 Hehe--the reason the technique is similar is that Grigolo was, at one time, a student of the great ll Maestro! Not to mention the Italian connection----I'm loving this voice more and more as he matures!
What part is the soprano? I did not hear her but just the Choir (they have many sopranos there) but no soprano soloist unless I missed it. I will watch it again. The tenor is incredible and very handsome. Almost like my son But my son don't sing, he just play the CD.
I have answered to the false video. I mean Carloina Ulrichs solo part in Gloria in excelsis Deo. You could simply find this video, singing by the tenor, too. Frauenkirche Dresden.
So looking foreward to hearing more from this young man.
