@gpgab971 Cost is not calculated on size alone. Many factors go into producing an accurate proposal. Generally insurance only applies if the tree lands on a structure.
@TreeDevildog I see. I have a friend who had an ancient black walnut removed, but he also sold the wood to a carpenter, and wound up breaking even because of it. I have a similar sized tree to the one he had (55 foot tall apprx 36 inch diameter) and i have had three different quotes. The I figured that maybe having the tree removed might actually reduce my hazard insurance after it was removed. Thanks for the reply!
you guys are good enough to put on discovery, unlike tree services shows they had for a short time, almost turning crane over, breaking things, argueing,ect ect....
