  • how much does something this size cost the homeowner? Is it covered under typical homeowners insurance?

  • @gpgab971 Cost is not calculated on size alone. Many factors go into producing an accurate proposal. Generally insurance only applies if the tree lands on a structure.

  • @TreeDevildog I see. I have a friend who had an ancient black walnut removed, but he also sold the wood to a carpenter, and wound up breaking even because of it. I have a similar sized tree to the one he had (55 foot tall apprx 36 inch diameter) and i have had three different quotes. The I figured that maybe having the tree removed might actually reduce my hazard insurance after it was removed. Thanks for the reply!

  • you guys are good enough to put on discovery, unlike tree services shows they had for a short time, almost turning crane over, breaking things, argueing, ect ect....

  • @woodyate Thanks, It sure was a challenging removal with all the obstacles you didn't see on film like the neighbors swing set, customers porch, etc. Feel free to send our info to the discovery channel.

  • Nice work Mike THAT WAS A BIGGIN!
