  • is this tailgating......LOL

  • you are mad!!

  • Looks like there is no prop guard!!!!!!!!!! ick

  • Muito legal o ultraleve.Usa um motor de pouca potência com um consumo relativamente pequeno de combustível, mas seguro. E o cenário é maravilhoso. Parabéns.

  • Comment removed

  • you can use it as a glider perhaps?

  • you also no one forbids it to do ... - And also for pleasure ...:)

  • fly this in afghanistan, you dont need a licence but people will shoot you down, just for fun.

  • Lmao

  • how much does this trike coast?

  • looks easy to make, theres alot of homemade with a ppg motor

  • you wouldn't need a licence for that now would you???

  • i guess it allways depends where you live!

in germany you need a licence to poop!

  • group flying, nice

  • my uncle made his first plane with a hang glider, weed wacker and an old prop he found in the garbage. It's so fun to fly!

  • Looks dangerous to fall down...

  • Could you please tell me what is your wing's area? I flew 15 square meters, but tomorrow I am trying a 10,6 meter easy trike with the same Simonini engine. Could you please tell me your experiences with such a small wing and small trike compared to the "regular" UL trikes?

  • so is that a weight shift?

  • if this is ur trike could you let me know what kind of wings and materials i can use to build one? if there is a kit or construction manual

  • I would like to know what trike this is and where would I get one from please I am already a flyer but foot launched, thanks.

  • Looked like you had great fun mate, keep having fun your only here once...No coming back for a second go, sadly Uk is full of legislation for everything so its no easy here as the law makers take the fun out of everything.

  • Who cares how low they are flying ,there in Italy or small town France were there are more pilots than cars for heaven sakes. I,m sure every one in town knows them ya bum! Legalist, were you born free or do you love to be bound by uncle sam

  • You are flying way to low- flying like this in the us can result in a large fine. FAR says not to fly below 2,000ft. in communities such as these.

  • 91.119 (b) Over congested areas. Over any congested area of a city, town, or settlement, or over any open air assembly of persons, an altitude of 1,000 feet above the highest obstacle within a horizontal radius of 2,000 feet of the aircraft.

    (c) Over other than congested areas. An altitude of 500 feet above the surface, except over open water or sparsely populated areas. In those cases, the aircraft may not be operated closer than 500 feet to any person, vessel, vehicle, or structure.

  • @oughtabefreeandeasy Something tells me that your FAR does not apply where these guys are flying.

  • Много приятно. Благодаря

  • In England you need a D licence, but you wont keep it long if you fly like an irrisposable idiot. If he has an engin out at that high he has nowhere to go but down into one of thoes building, and as a QFI I would reprimand him,it's great fun but also dangerous and unforgiving if you get it wrong,so if you learn in England, you will learn about the 500 foot law, for your saftey as well as others.

  • Hi can anyone tell me the cost of one of these please and do u need a pilots licence?

    Great vid, thanks.

  • Hi, depending on which country you're in. In Australia, you need a recreational license.

  • I'm in Ireland. Thanks.Can u fly when there's no wind?

  • Yes.

  • $5000

  • What model of trike is this? I am new to all of this ultralight stuff and I am looking for a beginner trike that is easy to fly!! Thanks

  • cool as

  • i just bought a Simonini mini 2 plus and would like to build my self a mini trike such as this, can anyone help me with some specific instructions.? I have some allu tubing of a few old hanggliders. Planing to use them! thanks

  • is this such a bad way to get to work??? is it really so odd?

  • Yes this is one of those planes that if the engine fails could simply glide to a soft landing in one of the village streeets

  • Is this one of those "planes" that if the engine fails, you can simply glide back down safely?

  • cool stuff, can he stop over by a shop for some produce and fly back home?

  • Sure, if he can fit all of the produce in it and find a landing space.

  • These Trikes are over priced!!!!

I mean, one can get a family four seater car for $36,000 but a too seater "Air Scooter" for the same price? What a rip off!

personally I think trikes should be price the same a mopeds, and four seater aircraft priced the same as automobiles

  • if an aircraft manufacturer was to charge such low prices they would never make enough profit to survive, think how little units most of the small companies sell. It's often said it takes a large investment to make a small return in aviation and that couldn't be more true.

  • I just bought a slightly used northwing. Ya, they are overpriced. There is not a whole lot to them, and that can be destroyed in an instant. Having said that, cars used to be expensive too, until Henry Ford got an assembly line going. Having said that, cars were cheap until labor unions got ahold of Ford. ha ha

  • They're expensive because of the time, effort, and skill needed to make them safe. A defective car means you might have a collision or get stranded by the side of the road... A defective aircraft means worse. Much worse.

(Plus, they're a specialty product. Cars have a price advantage due to mass production. Light aircraft aren't mass-producable because there isn't enough demand.)

  • they arent that expensive. theyre like 10-15 thousand. thats not bad in my book.

  • Or, if you're a cheap bitch like me and won't buy a few pairs of socks because come on, whats so wrong with wearing mismatched socks? You're wearing shoes if you're wearing socks like 90% of the time! But I digress. make your own! Lawn mower + 5 kites = air show. Have someone else record the footage. You'll need half a dozen hands to keep that in the air

  • the only way it will become cheaper if theres eventually and astronomic demand for this way of transportation (if we can call it that way).

  • Hi!

    It's amazing!

How much does it cost this trike?

    Has it a name?

Who manufacture this type and where can I buy it from?

    Thanks!

  • While the price of the latest factory made trikes are becoming obscene, it's still good to be able to have the same fun with a cheap home made trike, a liter of gas and the wind in your face......now thats real fun flying.

  • whate motor is that?

  • What about cross breezes? Seems as though a gust would tumble that thing.

  • Man, these guys are doin it good. It doesn't get any better than low and slow. Ultra light, or ultra heavy, a trike is a trike, as fun is fun.

  • Super vidéo, celà donne vraiment envie de faire du pendulaire léger!!!

  • It looks like they do not have a rule to be higher than 1000' above any built up area. This is illegal to fly so low above buildings in USA and Canada.

  • Nice Video - that Trike is about as open as it gets! Myself, I think it is cool! Thanks for the video! I like simple and practical and this meets every aspect.

  • Can someone tell the name of this kind of trike? it looks like it would be a blast to fly.

  • Funny all of the "experts" here crying about engine out problems. I have 1400 hrs flying trikes without problems due to engine outs. Students on the otherhand can cause some excitement. If you don't have experience with these don't assume yourself to have a valid opinion.

  • yeah and I bet most of those hours were done with a dual ignition rotax.

Try the same trick with a low horsepower single ignition screamer and see if you get your 1400 trouble free hours.

  • True, 800 on a 503 and about 300 on a 583 both with Ducati. However I have 300 on a Nipon Denzo single ignition 97hp 583. Plenty of friends of mine fly a 447 without problems. Change the plugs often and don't run shitty fuel and I guess that will increase you odds of success.

  • It's obvious to me that none of these guys have ever experienced an engine out.

Just one is all it takes.

  • pozdraw ot Svishtov,

  • awesome video, looks like fun

  • you lot must realy trust those engines.

  • The great bit about trikes is that they're able to glide to a landing if the engine dies. Sort of like a hang glider with an extra heavy pilot.

  • So does a 747 glide to a landing if the engines die, but it usually makes a mess. And a mess is exactly what you'll find yourself in, 75 feet above trees and houses with an engine failure.

  • If incidents like the Gimli Glider are any sign, airliners tend to make acceptable landings on runways when the engines are gone... However, I will concede that at 75 feet, that trike's landing options are a bit limited. Still, I don't doubt that the pilot would survive relatively uninjured.

  • Looks very fun.. I really want to learn trikes.. Where and how did you learn to ride a trike?

  • lol looks like air police lol funny

  • Great! Wait for more movies.

    Greetings from Croatia!

    Jako dobro. pozdrav iz Hrvatske.

  • u guys flew over croatia?

how about bosnia, did u fly over that too or were u too afraid of getting shot down, lol

    pozdrav is bih

  • Thanks for the video. That was awesome.

I'm tired of seeing the 1000 lb, 100+ hp trikes listed in the ultralight section. They can put those heavy monsters with the Cessna's and Piper's.

Your machine is definitely an ultralight. Send us some more videos of the machine itself. I have a homemade nanolight trike and would like to compare.

  • Looks like a lot of fun!!

  • Yes, it was during one TV film making. Trikes flew over one very small and wonderful Bulgarian village. It was rainy and we stealed 3 hours without water to make our cascades.
