Have you seen the Bimota with centre hub streering or more recently the Virus 985? They say with this leading link set up the handling is so good you can out break (slow down) conventional forks. And no need for steering dampeners. The suspention does it's thing, the steering does it thang seperatly, unlike forks

This is just the front end below the steering column, this whole assembly will turn.
