call me a traitor or what have you, but I'm a Salvadoran Soca Warrior Fanatic. As hard as it may seem its true. El Salvador may not have played with their top 3 forwards. However, after watching William Reyes and and Rudis Corrales at the LA Coliseum against Guatemala....let me tell you they weren't missing much. Stern John alone would kill the entire Salvadoran defense. I'm afraid to say it but its true. We cannot match TnT in strength nor in speed. Eliseo would have troubled but thats it.

El Salvador did not put the main 3 strikers: William Reyes, Rudy Corrales and our best player Eliseo Quintanilla. The only player that stood us up was Alfredo Pacheco, who was expelled from the game, 4-5 min after on the 79 min after 1-1 game... 2 goals El Salvador staying with 9 men... one less. This game was totally not fair lol. Thingswill be different with our entire team together like it will against Costa Rica, the only team we need to defeat.
