  • very nice!

  • Works on my phone htc sensation

  • A Pete I can't watch your videos on my iPod why is that is it something u did to them I'm subscribe to your channel I've been watching you since I was 18 keep up the good work but can u let me know why can't watch them

  • @bain1013 On certian videos that have third matched content --- music --- it won't let you watch it on mobile devices.. This video contains copyrighted music so it won't play on Iphones and Ipads... Only computers. Pete

  • Aye Pete I can't watch your vids on my iPod why is that

  • @bain1013 Some videos can't be viewed on your iphone or ipod due to music content, it's not me, it's youtube you can watch them on a computer though.

  • thanks Pete and minnie

  • Pete, I subscribed to you about 4 months ago. Your videos as you would say are Fucking Great! You tell it like it is like when you cut I think it was a Plymouth to make the desk, or the mooch who put his car in your garage and thought he owned the place. You finally threw him the fuck out. Maybe you could get your show on the History Channel and people who don't know about you can enjoy you too. Keep up the good wory!!

    Les

  • @hfde2 I have a television show on Discovery Channel-3NET, it's called Tough Love Garage and is brought to you in 3D. google Tough Love Garage to find out more about it. thanks for the comments and support. Pete

  • very cool car Pete, I like it!

  • I like it with the top much better.

  • @mgbsalta Yeah, I chopped the top 4 inchs or was it 6 inchs,, anyway, yeah it looks GREAT, came out really nice. Thanks Pete

  • Looks awesome Pete!!! Another question about getting started.... As far as guidance, and then selling yourself for the guidance... What I would give to be guided under you.... Do I sell myself as free help (which i am willing to do), and also I want to learn from someone who does the project the right way instead of a lot of what i have heard "this is how it gets done". I have the capability to learn it, the motivation, and the thing money can't buy the right attitude. Oso

  • Thank you Pete. I CANT STAND THESE ''DETAILERS'' THAT APPLY WAX WITH THEIR FINGER TIPS!!!

This is how you do it (video)

  • fantastic colour combination pete! never seen anything like it

  • great work

  • I had no idea black and blue went so good together :O nice job :)

  • That looks really nice, especially the way the silver stripe goes all the way round. It's a much nicer combo than the colour it was.

  • Pete in the thanksgiving episode it showed you doing the base coats on the car and it looked pretty orange peely. Then you were onto the clear fairly quickly after that but the finished product doesnt look rough at all. What gives? Did you block it back and then redo in between filming or did you do multiple coats and blocking?

  • @cyberfez I colorsand and buffed the car before Minnie waxed it, I just didn't go through the buffing of the vehicle.. All the vehicles I do are colorsand and buffed after painting. Pete

  • oh yeah thats the paint scheme I wanted to do on my drop top fox body. Same colors and everything. I think I will now, just a darker blue. Thanks pete.

  • 6 days? What the hell is my guy doing? driving it around thats what!!

  • Hey Pete one thing i picked was where is your signature on the car, you should put somthing on the cars you do. Like the work you do... Ray

  • Hi Pete thanks for taking the time to reply ,shame that ,really look forward to your videos by the way, keep them coming.Best wishes from the UK. Paul.

  • Pete's cars/signs need to be filmed in HD.

  • @Drlovemachine My camera is an HD/SD camera, I shoot in SD because windows movie maker won't except HD format.. Thanks Pete

  • 'Nice car. The black and blue go really good together...

  • Nice work Pete, there's tons I'd love to discuss, but I'll stay on point. I've painted locomotives and motorcycles, but never anything fiberglass. I am getting ready to paint my 32 Ford 5 window I built from a kit body - if that turns out ok, I'll freshen up my 57 bel air. Question is, should I use single stage or basecoat/clearcoat for a plain yellow 32 - what are the pros and cons? Thanks for the great vids!

  • @tommynights The pros and cons to a perfect paint job doesn't rely on what paint you use, but rather focusing on the prep job. Your prep job is your paint job, without a good prep job, the right primers, the block sanding, body work ect, you won't have a good paint job. I would paint basecoat clear coat if it was me. Pete

  • I'm sure he'll love it.

  • That color combination made that car. One of my dream cars would be a steel body 34 hardtop with a deep purple pearl and black with a painted silver stripe separating the two colors. Hell of a job once again Pete & Minnie!

  • @PonyPower71 Good luck on the steel body car, few and far between unless you buy one of those "RICH BOYS" aftermarket steel body cars..

  • @diyautoschool LOL I like those few and far between cars. Love the challenge :)~ I know where there are a couple sitting that are unmolested but you would need to be a "Rich boy" to buy either one of them.

  • Happy Birthday!! =)

  • Looks good pete!!

  • I'm not a ford man. But Pete u always make them look good looking forward to more vids Pete I've been watchin them since I was 19 now I'm 22 keep it up

  • Nope. Im a 32 Coupe man myself, and a solid axle guy. Honest i like Maxwell better. Better looking car to me then the Cabriolet. But the Cabriolet is a nice car. I would realy like to look at it one day. 99 percent of guys building cars that are not pro builders, the first car gets sold and they are on to another build. Because they build the next one better and the next one better.Pete the number one street beast custom builder.Good job man you rock.

  • @woodzo40 speaking of kit cars, hows your doing....

  • @diyautoschool Real good. doing the exaust right now and running plugwires. I want to fire it up in a few months. But since i have a girlfriend now i need to get my ass back on the car. Its coming along but slow. but give me a few years it will be on the road. havent made any videos cause of a 7,700 min youtube uploead. i may be done with videos. lol.

  • @woodzo40 7.700 min? wow I think you broke the record for the longest time to upload a video.. Youtube is reallly getting to be a hassle with all this new stuff they are changing, the homepages SUCK, Take it easy. Pete

  • @swrnc you got that right. Thats why im old school. I like old shit and will never change...... My saying is that i tell people is nothing changes for the better.. cause we would of done it that way the first time.

  • I like it a lot!!! Good Job Pete and Minnie...

  • It is a nice car but, I don't care much for the headrests that stick up above the car's body. The headrests kinda ruins the car's profile.

  • Nice car. Colors are awesome. Much better than original.

  • Great work, Pete. Love that shade of blue. Pat yourself on the back and be proud.

  • The car looks great Pete, but the video kind of has me confused.

I some how always heard that you shouldn't wax fresh paint for a few months.....

but use a wax free hand glaze instead. Is this an "old wives tale"?

    Am I being too cautious?????

I have a fiberglass body car that was painted (silver) back in September, and I have not put any wax on it yet as I was worried I might be doing something wrong.

  • @benzracer9 I always wax the cars I do after colorsand and buffing, I do final detail on the vehicle right before delivery.. It isn't going to hurt to wax your car with the new age wax's they have today.. Go ahead and WAX IT!

  • Car looks great Pete. Looks like it was single color before. What a difference that 2 tone made!

There's where you get your job satisfaction!

  • Your color combo gave that car a great new look.

  • Hey Pete, Rick in Florida. The Ford looks nice. Well I am finishing up that hoodscoop the only problem is getting that welded to line straight on each side. I figured out that two pieces of masking laid perfectly then put my body filler over the tape once the filler is tacky remove the tape and I have a straight edge line to sand in. My new tailgate came in today from JC Whitney a get well present for myself when I got home from work and open the box there were three small dents to repair

  • @lastmarshall Sounds like a good deal, gettin er done and gettin well.. Great combonation.. Pete

  • Got a keeper there Pete... =] Happy late B-Day... both of ya'z!!! Be up there ya'llz way soon.

  • The cool thing is you work with whats given to you and you turn it all around, way wicked my man.Belated Happy Birthday to ya both.! Hugs and tugs.

  • Cool car nice paint job

  • I am more of a coupe guy, but I must say that is one sweet car. That color just pops!!

  • i wonder if you are ever concerned woth rock kick backs towing ,no shield on that one. i noticed the willys had a shield.

  • @doberfag Yeah, the ford has those high fenders the willys had the low roll under type fenders,,, Also I was only going 175 miles down the road with the ford, went 2500 with the willys.. That shield is a pain in the ass to use, but well worth every penny I spent on making it.. Take it easy. Pete

  • nice work pete & minnie - another great piece of SWRNC art

  • great job

  • Hey Pete , you ever shot gel coat ? I have a 86 supra sunsport boat that I want to get painted .. Can ya do it Pete ! ? Let me know I'm I'n fort worth

  • I only have one complaint- BOO vinyl stripes! Haha- kool video, Pete

  • OK Pete, I'll tell ya. I don't like the car. Nope don't like it at all.

I LOVE IT! What I don't like, is that it's not mine!

    Love that blue!

  • great job as usual,. only think i would change is wheels.. ome wide rears with a deep dish.. the old centerlines look dated .. but the car still looks amazing never the less

  • damn Pete if I'm doing that tape I be cutting all my fingers trying not to mess it up lol

  • I like a lot ! You should add silver flames though :O)

  • it does look good Pete nice man!

  • Nice looking car, one thing, why didn't you put several coats of clear on the black ?

The black looks a little dule may be the photo. The car does look nice

    Dan

  • Nice job Pete! Reminds me of the color combo on one of my first guitars back in the 80's.

  • question that car the orange one in the back ground didnt you sell that in the last 2 videos 9:27

  • U da man...nice work ...as always!

  • spoke rims would set it off , nice work

  • i forget was that a kit car or actual steel body

  • @AXE2501 Its a kit car--Streetbeasts--

  • love the car and the blue . i wonder how how it would look two tone blue and silver? nice work pete

  • @thegrandmarkie Check out my website over at swrnc.com and go to previous projects, you'll see a few of them painted silver and blue.. Pete

  • @swrnc yha i love silver and blue . i owned a black corvette what a pain in the ass to keep clean lol .black is nice... when someone else owns it !

  • Turned out badass! A car that cool deserves some slightly nicer wheels, but as far as your work, it looks awesome!

  • awesome job pete !

  • It's Bad A**

  • Good job Pete and Minnie. Car looks great.

  • 1 word .... beautiful

  • And the owner was thrilled I'm sure. What a beautiful blue Pete. Is that your mix, or is that a color that the customer picked?
