@zigarela, what exactly is the problem here? Cantor is all for helping out the victims in Missouri, and is no way suggesting that they "fend for themselves." That would be heartless. But when you're running out of money. You debt is reaching to historical heights, you need to find away to pay for it. All what Cantor is saying is that we must cut federal spending in order to help the people of Missouri.

@zigarela Do you even know what you are talking about? Obama is the one who has to authorize FEMA to help Joplin etc. and he went on a European trip. Even Bush who by the way did send Fema to help New Orleans, which they refused the help, stayed around to help.
