i like the fact that no matter what my finacial status my children will always be taken care of... no matter what hospital (in an emergency)! i dont have to worry about going bankrupt because of medical bills... or not being able to support our family because we have a sick child, or i get cancer or whatever! i live in europe and one big reason we dont want to come back is the health care system as it is right now!

and every other industrialized nation has universal health care! Why? because it is a HUMAN RIGHT- it should never be a business! These guys are paid a lot of money to be against this health plan- by whom? Nobody. The single payer cuts out the insurance companies. Everybody gets paid by one place, the government, the government sets prices and every few years the prices are adjusted. No one is denied, no one loses their home because they get sick.

I am from Texas and Texas actually has the highest number of uninsured in the nation. This is American...if you get of you couch and WORK you can get healthcare. Lets pretend this health care is fantastic (which it is NOT, it sucks) to me it is all about Government control over our lives.
