Shoppers: TomTom's no longer offer FM transmitting of voice instruction due to laws in Europe they have DISABLED FM Transmitting for the entire world.
Existing Go 730 users: if you perform the necessary firmware update above 8.01 you will LOSE FM transmitting of voice instruction. TomTom has disabled this feature for the entire world. Garmin, took a much more logical approach and only disabled it in Hungary and Poland (the two countries that ban the FM tranmission).
the transmission is really poor... the signal has to be stronger because i get noise almost all the time, even with empty frequencies. my fm transmitter I bought for 8€ in china is better...

I have no problems with it at all, bring it back to where you got it and ask them to get it checked
