I looked at one just like this from the same year, at Sam Ash White Plains back in 2004 or so, for $895. Should have bought it.

I'v got a 1917A1 I would pay that if I had it long before buying a new gibson and this being one of the best possable years with the new adjustabl bridge and truss rod mine being solid have to hear it next to mine got a fealling the mic and Utube don't do it any good lucked into mine at a flea market for 500 plays perfict and anyone playing it for the first time jumps at the volume comeing off of it buddy said"wears the speeker""nothing this small should be this loud" and the sound is full!
