that sounds sick i am buying an 88 5.0 and im not sure what to put on it i know its not gonna sound like yours but i would like a tip or two im 18 and just entering the world of stangs
@Patron1520 is that on a cold start or when its hot? it shouldnt be idling that high when warm. i idle at 650-800 rpm when warm. could be a maf mapping error.
@CaptAvenger2004 It more than likely would have but I have the rear O2 sensors turned off in the tune. You can do this by buying a handheld tuner or buying MIL Eliminators.
It is alright. It is a slight power increase but nothing too noticeable. It all depends who does the tune on it. Its worth having if you ever have your car dyno tuned. I bought it because I can use it to turn off the rear o2s and its also worth having, just don't expect it to be a big power upgrade. For what it is, I like it though.
The camera I used for this vid was a cheap Canon MiniDV camcorder I paid like $130 2 years ago for. The other camera I have but haven't used much yet is the VadoHD handheld HD camera that was also like $130.
Sounds absolutely awesome! Great car, great video! Thanks for posting. Is that Bright Altantic Blue? I put an off road H-pipe on my fiancee's 4.6L along with Flow 40 series. They do sound nice! Most of my Mustangs have X-pipes, and just don't sound as deep as the good ol' H.
It came with the 40's on it when I bought it so it don't matter. I never even heard 44s on a stang around here. Still sounds great so I'm definitely gonna keep them on there. Everyone thats heard my car loves it, sounds alot better in person.

I have an '06 GT and I just got my H-Pipes from Summit Racing. Does your check engine light come on without the Cats since you put the H-Pipe on?
