  • Why do you play in your socks? Can you play in your shoes if you want and still hit each peddle without pressing 2 peddles down at once?

  • @wastnTIMEwastnTIME

Well, it gives better sensation of how far the pedals are pressed... I wear some big fat Timberlands so it'd be like typing with boxing gloves on!

  • Man you have a problem changin the shifts. Because u hold the clutch, then shift, and gas. but you hold the clutch while you pressure the gas. but it is not correct, in real life you would burn much clutch.

So try not to hold the clutch while e pressure the gas :)

    BTW, nice game :D

  • I hate how the guy in the radio says "Have Fun and Be Careful" or "GO, GO, GO! Have Fun!" It like... ruins the experience by reminding me I'm just playing a video game....

  • Geh Nachhause ... Bad Drivee

  • THis game is awesome, man i wish i had the g25.

  • hey how do u get this to work becasue mine dont it works on ps3 dashboard but not in game hel-p

  • dude, you catch change gear properly

  • why the wheel in game not show the same position as the controller???

  • It's a slight input lag... It's only visual though, the car steers at the right time, all that is taken care of in a split second. The visuals for movement of the steering wheel, on the other hand, are seen as a bit less Crucial, so there's allowance for a bit of lag. Doesn't effect gameplay though!

  • lol same thing happens to me i think im about to finish but i still have one lap to go so i handbrake to make a cool stop and realize it didn't finish LOL

  • Yeah, I've done that so many times!!! I think it stems from the original Need For Speed where when you crossed the finish line, the car automatically pulled the e-Bradke and went spinning out of control. I think that's why I do it, and, yes, I have lost a number of races because I did it on the next-to-last lap!!!

  • oh those AI are annoying they just bump into to you and you get the aggressive points :@ i hate them

  • I have to agree with you there!

  • what screen do you use??

  • 32" Philips LCD HDTV. It's an older model, but i't's got HDMI input and the audio is pumped through my Samsung HTIB Surround Sound System.

  • not a sim game play gt5 ore lfs

  • It's a decent Sim/Arcade Mix. For when I don't feel like being a Gear Head, or playing a Cart Racer, this game is a very good alternative.

  • but bugatti has 6 gears??Oo

  • a question..the g25 has 6 gears right? ......how does it work when you drive the bugatti?..and sory for bad english...

  • @crazyboy47 It has 6 gears.

  • @aeg12p it has 7

  • Nope, 6+Reverse gear.

  • u should change view so u see u driving the car not a man who dirves the car

  • isn't the table too high?xD

  • Nope, as you can see in the video, when I pick up the secondary camera, my viewpoint is unobscured by the table, and only slightly by the wheel itself, which is more than tolerable.

  • NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRDDDDDD

  • Thank you. I enjoy being a NEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRDDDDDD.

  • Great game, just bought it myself for my PS3 and Logitech GT Force. Playing it in my own cinemaroom at home for a few days now and I will upload a simular video like yours as soon as possible. Funny how you wrote all those comments in your vid about your room. Greetz

  • Thanks! The only part of the video editing process that took any time on my part was putting in the comments!!! Glad to see someone enjoyed it! Thought the middle of the vid got a bit boring, so there you go.

  • how much cost at ur steering wheels?

  • $300 American.

  • i dont think ur clutch is working

  • He's just used to quick shifting. In Shift, you can't shift really fast unless the car has a sequential type transmission.

  • PS3 PAD is better. You can drive any car easily with the pad so i sold my wheel :) Bought for 130 quid and sold for 120 after 2 months! :P

  • u cant shift

  • Thanks for the observational humor. That was a joke right?

  • your just holding the clutch to long and accelarting when you let go of the clutch to early

  • Yeah... I'm not the best at this stuff, but that's why I play video games and don't race in real life. Sorry for gettin' nippy with you there, one can only remain civil in YouTube comments for so long... ;-)

  • How did you use h-pattern and clutch on Nfs Shift?? I don't see any of these in controlls. Please tell me!

  • If you still don't know, change your controller preset to a G25 one then when you scroll down the controls.... there it is!.... along with the individual gears that you can assign.

  • lol nice :P i can't w8 tog et the g25. btw you realise you might have broken an annotations record right? rofl

  • wasnt that crapy to drive when the desk is higer than te tv?

  • It's a matter of viewpoint. Watch the video to the end, I pick up the secondary camera so you can see exactly what I saw.

  • if you drive like that on real life you are going to fuck the clutch and the gbox LOL , you need to downshift with heel and toe to revmatch the engine and gbox ratios evenly and a bit of double shifting at certain moments.. lol I'm 26 and my dad is 57 and he saw my drivin with this techniques on the road from cancun to mexico and he told me . have you been racing? who taught to drive like that . he told me you make the car feel smooth in downshifts LOL.. its funny

  • but its different when racing. everything you leanerd from drivers ed goes right out the window you have to do whats fast efficent and easy for you o basically every real driver has a different setup

  • u should learn to heel-toe braking

  • i think he drives an automatic car

  • is that a school desk?

  • yea he jacked it at the last day of school!

  • incredibly realistic DRIVE eee parkour

  • man that sucks...you release the clutch pedal like a button and that is very very ..not realistic.

  • yeah.. that´s the function of all pedals , not too much realistic, but g25 is one of the only that has clutch

  • It's RACING! I don't think racer press/release the clutch as slowly/smoothly as learnt in driving school.

  • just play vdrift or any game that has CLUTCH pedal in settings.

  • @vdrift: But maybe I prefer playing with my PS3 on my couch + 52" TV instead on the PC?

  • the wheel and the shifter close that way, looks like a Citroen Jumper LOL

  • That is funny! I'd never seen one of those before, but it is pretty close to a match! Anyone who doesn't know, just do a google image search for "Citroen jumper dashboard" and it should be the first result.

  • u cant drive

  • You can't spell.

  • LOL Decent force feedback?

  • Yeah, and it's adjustable. I left it at the default settings. Strong enough to tell you what's going on, but not too strong as to pull the wheel from your hands.

  • That's cool :)

  • its better if u sit closer to the tv and use bonnet view cos now u see 2 steering wheels!

  • Seeing 2 wheels just makes it so I can see exactly what the game thinks I'm doing. In other words, if I've got the wheel turned 360 degrees to one side, my wheel looks upright, but the one on screen shows the wheel way off (it only turns on screen 180 degrees in either direction. Plus, there's a lot of added realism in the cockpit view: the force of gravity on the driver for one... really immersive experience, you should try it.

  • wouldnt it be better if the gear box was closer to your knees?

  • Probably, but my current setup doesn't allow for such a placement.

  • turn off the line...with line it's so simple... master ;)

  • In this game you get bonus points for following the line exactly... I turn it off in all other racing games.

  • How do u turn the force feedback off or low cos its extremely hard! the wheel just drives by it self and my hands hurt after a few laps! Cheers

  • god ur a pussy it dosent even hurt

  • U have no idea how how force my wheel has! its like someone else is pushing it in the opposite direction than u r moving it!

  • Well, it's different in each game on the PS3, but in Shift it's right in the options menu. You can turn the Force Feedback intensity way up or way down if you please.

  • can u stall

  • In Shift, I believe so. In Gran Turismo 5 yes.

  • No u dont stall! u can shift gears without even pressing the clutch with no negative effect :(

  • @AwesomeArsalan This is the same problem since Carbon. EA fix THIS!!!

No Fun!

  • im about to get one thanks man your da best its sick (ive already got the game on my gamig pc)

  • Heh... It's too bad I can't make a commission on that! You're in for a treat, the wheel is awesome! Enjoy!

  • Thanks for the video, just ordered one! :)

  • how much dose the weel and pedals cost bc i want it for my xbox!!! plz coment back

  • It's not Xbox Compatible.

PS3, PS2 and PC only. Sorry.

  • do u actually need to clutch plz respond

  • You don not actually need the clutch, some wheels don't come with one. Even when you do have the clutch there is an 'auto-clutch' option so you don't have to bother with it.

  • But you can turn this option off? If so, what does happen if you shift without the clutch and this auto-clutch option is off?

  • where did you get the table? lol I need a table!

  • Garage sale of somebody who used to work for a School, I guess he got it from them. It's a classic school desk, built to withstand much more abuse than even the might G25 can dole out... ;-)

  • hey great video, just 1 question : how do yo instal de racing wheel in you ps3?

  • Just plug it into the USB port! There is no installation!

  • Thanks for the setting :D

  • Ok thank you

  • Can you use the clutch because I have the g25 and I can't find a game using the clutch?thank you please respond Asap!

  • Yes, the game is designed from the ground-up for the G25. Please click on the "More" link on the video description to see a link to my full review of the game and the wheel.

  • What are you settings for the wheel in the game?

  • Actually, all the defaults. I tried futzing with the Wheel Rotation, but I find it's 360 degree setting to be just about perfect. Everything else is just stock.

  • i like how u change gear and the car sounds lol eee ummm

  • Alright, but it also has advanced gearing in the feedback system, and the shifter has added resistance and what not

  • Do you think I should buy this wheel?

Or the newer G27, I want your opinion :D

  • The shifter is limited to the H-Pattern only. This is to create a more realistic feel to the gear shifting. The shifting action on the G25 is ver, VERY light. There is very little force to shift gears. Take that however you want; good or bad.

The G27 has helical cut gears to cut down on the whirr during hard turns, but it creates other noises at other times.

The G25 is an outstanding achievement in racing sim wheels, and the G27 isn't a revelation, just an evolution. I'd pass. Save cash!

  • Haha alrightt, do you think it's possible just to buy a G27 shift nob? and keep the logitech G25 stuff? haha

  • I heard that's not possible... I'd almost like that, just to get the better shifter with the current wheel... I like the ability to switch back to Sequential Gear Shifting with the shifter, but I find myself using it very little... then again, some games (read: Most Games) don't know the H-Patern shifter... so it's required.

  • Dang.. Alright, thanks for the help :D

I'm fixing to buy the G25 once I get money for it.

  • Hey dude! Can you please either send me a message or make a video how to play orhow to actuali work a manual car cause i just got the g25 and i have no one to tell me how a real manual car works so i was just wondering if u can just do a real demonstration how the clutch and everything works by the way nice video and setup!!

  • Yeah, if I've got nothing else doing this weekend I'll put something together... Can't make any promises though, just subscribe to my videos, and we'll go from there!

  • Aright dude thanks though and yeah i sunscribed thanks again...

  • Okay, nice demo but... how good is the wheel? Its better than using the controller? Any comments on that?

  • In this video's description, go to "More Info" for a link to my full written review of the game and the wheel.

  • Nice.... Love the video!

  • Thanks! It's not the prettiest edit in the world... could've cut out the middle where I'm just staring at the camera... but whateva.

  • You can adjust the clutch so that it feeds in instead of overrevving the shifts. Do it in the logitech profiler

  • I'm on the PS3 version of the game... I have yet to tweak the controls at all... Don't really know what I'd change on that version...

  • hey buddy nice driving i have the game on ps3 tooo and with the g25 !! add me man il race you psn: reg_33 :D take care man

  • IS there a demo on the playstation 3 ???

  • Sorry, no. Your confusion is my fault, this is a Demonstration of the use of the G25 playing NFS:Shift on the PS3. All the google searches I made never answered the question of how well or even if this game implemented this controller, so I bit the bullet and got it. Turns out it works just about perfectly (it'd be perfect if you could re-asign the buttons, but they're 'good enough' I'd say).

Sorry for the confusion, just trying to make the title shorter...

  • There is a Demo to be coming out really soon now! Before it's release, they were more concerned with keeping as many people finishing the product as possible, so the demo was put on indefinite hold. That's the official story anyway, but now it's coming out, so it's all good.

  • yeah...full use of clutch, BUT! have u noticed..when when u turn auto clutch OFF!!!..u still dont have to use clutch at all...that pissas me right off...nice run though..i use all pro settings myself accept for abs, im no pro...but why not play it at full realism with a wheel..

  • Yeah, I noticed that too when paddle shifting... but I just ignored it for the sake of laziness... it over-revs a bit when you paddle shift, but it's still pretty quick...

  • thanks for letting me know,, it came out just yesterday ..!!!!!!

  • Great video, love the comments!

  • Do you mean I shift too early? Because I shift when the engine has the power... any later and the rev limiter on this stock engine will just kill any forward thrust I had to begin with. Or is it that I'm not Double Clutching? I'm pretty sure this 2009 BMW has transmission synchronizers and therefore doesn't require it.

But I'm sure you know everything there is to know about the subject. I know how to drive an actual car, and here you just see me playing a video game. Go troll elsewhere.

  • bumped? i think you hit someone, you have to check the mirror, the Ai already had the line...its not your fault though, in NFS the contact isn't very realistic at all! thats where this game lacks

  • I'm an aggressive driver, what can I say? He should have yielded to me when I took the lead... IMHO

  • Nice driving! I actually found your vid via gtplanet. Do you mind sharing the settings you use for Shift? I have a G25 as well and I've yet to find the right settings that let me enjoy the game. I came very close to trading it in the other day, but decided to give it another chance. Thanks.

  • I actually just use the stock settings... haven't had time to really sit down and tweak them... Maybe you need to try another car... I had an S2000 that I couldn't drive around the oval track to save my life! Switched to the Audi TT (I think) for the same race and Nuked it! ... practice practice practice too..

  • I guess I'm just so used to GT5P. I'll try the Audi and see how it goes. Thanks!

  • 900 degree, sorry.

  • Yes, but it's not 1:1 in the game, meaning for every 3 degree you turn, the game only turns 1. It's set to 360 degrees by default. That's what I'm using.

  • Is the force feedback good? Is there 900 steering support?

  • The Force Feedback is Fantastic by the way! It's adjustable and by default is only at 50%... I can't imagine how it'd rip my arms off at anything above 75%!!!
