BEAUTIFUL FILM!!!! I saw this film two times before coming to the conclusion that the hallucinations were probably the effect of her anorexia/bulimia?(or some thing else to that effect, correct me if I am wrong) she has vomited more times than I can remember.. and even her tailor for the costume notices her loss of weight, she even refuses to even partake of even 1 slice of cake offered by her mother...she may have drank but she never ATE not once..stress plus hunger equals hallucinations..

Great film. It's unfortunate that so many morons can't seem to discuss anything apart from that one 20 second lesbian scene.

Just like when Watchmen came out (another great film, though the graphic novel is even better), everyone was talking about blue wangs and ignoring everything that was actually amazing about the film.

If it really was extremely graphic then they would still give it NC-17 like they did with Blue Valentine. I know a couple people that have seen it already, there is no nudity in the scene but you can tell what is going on which many sex scenes are like that in movies.
