I don't think it's quite a good idea to have the vent holes around the bottom of the stove with dry leaves around it. But other than that, it's pretty cool
pretty dam cool. have you made one out of a 55 gl drum yet? The one you made there seems easy to make, just cut some hole in the side, and a door, then a hole for the pipe, right?? if that is all, I may be able to do it too. I have 55 gl drum, that I want to make into a stove, do you think I could do it the same way, or would there be more to it..
I cut out the mid-section of it and sandwiched the top and bottom, then pop-riveted them with steel rivets. I believe you could make one from a 55 gal drum in similar fashion, just larger scale. If you do, send me a video of it. I would love to see it! Peace.
Sweet stove I priced a tent stove Cabellas they want over $150 for a stove. A stove is a low tech device why are people paying this much for something that requires common sense to build.
Thanks, man! I just adapted Tinny's design (MiniBulDesign) to my taste. You are correct, with a touch of sense and a bit of elbow grease, one can save a bundle on camping gear. Peace.
If there was, I would have paid it for the stove body alone! This stove works pretty darn well for it's size, and is completely self contained. Thanks for the comment! Peace.
Peace...lol

This is a great wook stove here , you speak of coffee so I assume you can use the top of the stove as cooker? Great JOB!!!!

Gonna make a how-to-make video on this stove soon. Top is flat, so it makes for a good cooking surface. Thanks for the comment! Peace.
