Having been wandering about youtube looking for cello performances I happened upon yours here and was delighted. I think what impressed me the most was something that seems to be absent in performances by Rostropovich, Yo Yo Ma and others which was that you seem to play the cello for yourself and not others. I think this reveals itself in your video here and I thank you for sharing it with us.

sounds great :D. i can feel the emotion. lovely vibrato and smooth strokes for the double stops and the bringing out of the main melody for each phrase. definitely talented

good job on your chords (especially the vibrato). a couple things i only noticed were when you shifted back into 3rd or 1st position youd get out of tune (but you fixed it). also, your bow is not staying proportional to the cello bridge/body. overall great job! im learning the 3rd suite also! keep practicing =P

I do believe you're doing very good. Cello is a particularly difficult instrument. Lots of people will criticize you, positively or negatively, my advice: you and your maestro are the best judges you'll get. Keeping this track (vids) of your advance is great, not for others to examine you, but for yourself: a great way to notice your faults and improve what's good within your work.

Hy!That was very good,but..I think this dance is the most erotical dance of baroque danses.Young women was dancing with the boy,who was the best for her.Two body were 1 mm from each other whilst they were dancing.But never abutted with each other.This is the most intime dance in my opinion.So,you can transfer this feelings, but i cant dancing for your music..that was too slowly for me.I thhink the best tempo is like your d minore Sarabande.That was only my idea, but i believe this

A Sarabande is a DANCE! A dance that has a strong 2nd beat, one TWO three. I don't use so much vibrato as u, but ok, ur a romantic I think. Many great cellist play Bach with vibrato, (Rostropovich) Just for fun, try useing vibrato ONLY in soft sections!

Truth is, you have a great deal of talent and can be a great cellist! NOW GO HAVE SOME FUN WHILE YOUR YOUNG!! (GIRLS GIRLS AND MORE GIRLS!)
