I can't use that hold w/ my son (now almost 14 months) anymore b/c he is enthralled with water and will try to touch the "water" that he sees coming out of himself, LOL.

Also we don't have the pee signal down yet so he pees about 50% in his diaper and I catch 50% in the potty. We don't know why its hard to tell when he has to pee.

For those who are curious about car rides my 4 week old makes his signal noise for poop in the car and I tell my hubby to pull over and we use public restrooms.

I get this at home EC thing, but what do you do when you are in a store, in the car seat, or at an event? I mean there are times you have no access to do this! Not questioning you choice, just curious! Thanks for responding.

EASY! :) In stores he pees in urinals- his dad helps him there, lol. If he's with me, I very carefully aim into potty bowl, but I don't recommend if urinal is available. As for the carseat, he pees before getting into the car, and then as soon as we get out. If it's a long drive, we just periodically stop. (Can't say how often, really depends on your child and how long a drive it is.) Most events have bathrooms, just use them. :)))

I agree on not wearing diapers, it gives rashes and its gross and very uncomfortable for the baby. Hurray and good job starting early!
