  • i know it has 1 ply shells and all, so it probably does sound better tuned high... but as for the floor tom, people need to stop tuning their floor toms like high-toms, they're about 2.5 times deeper and should sound that way...

  • What's with people asking and making comments about cymbals in a drums video? Guess they'll be asking the size of the drums in a video that shows the new crash line.

  • single ply the purpose for multi ply is weight so those must be heavy as fuck

  • What is the crash being used in this video!!?

btw, that kit owns. i'm ordering 1 by the end of this year

  • @TheSKCProductions to be honest with you, you aren't going to get much of a good kit below $1500.

  • the kit sounds real good that snare sounds killer

  • They need to make a 8 piece double bass kit, that would be amazing.

  • its not often that a matching snare for a kit sounds good!

  • @TheSKCProductions We do have less expensive kits in stock but we tend to showcase more high-end kits on our website. Give us a call at 901-276-2328 or email us at sales@memphisdrumshop,com and we'll tell you what other kits we have available.

  • This drum set is on a fine line between worth it and overpriced

  • i REALLY!!!!!!! want a craviotto snare

  • Nice playing, nice sounding set. Veeeerrrryyyyy nice!!

  • Damn, this thing sounds ridiculous. That snare, especially. Amazing.

  • the power of 1 ply shells... man I love that sound

  • these shells are not carved in tree trunks. no craviotto shells is carved in a tree trunk. every craviotto drum shells is steam bent with reinforcing hoops top and bottom. they are one ply steam bent shells but for large bass drums sometimes they need 2 pieces of wood. and they are priced high because the art of steam bending wood and turning them into drumshells is very complex and requires much more skills than making plywood shells. craviotto drums are work of art.

  • @stromghouls Very nice words my friend.

  • actually not carved out. Johnny takes boards and bends them with steam. And he does a beautiful job of doing so.

  • if you listened at the begining you would know they are "1-ply shells", meaning solid shell, which for craviatto means they probable carved each drum out of a hunk of tree trunk, and since ash isn't a cheap wood, and it's a 5-piece set, I'm suprised its ONLY $8000

  • @payableondrummer, well, not surprised that it is JUST 8000. I beleive Craviotto really does special drums but its known as high class drums, and just like DW its easier to plus the prices. But sure they are amazing, im dreaming about these sets. :)

  • what ride is that?

  • Zildjian 22" K Series Light Ride

  • This is one of the nicest drum sets I have ever heard.

  • How much did that cost? I am going to get one.

  • Please click the link in the description for price.

  • @Mega123456789100 oh it´s only a modest, like, $7000, or something.. probably more. XD

  • The kit is good. The bass drum Sounds very good. A bit wrong tuned, for my taste...

  • Bad that they're so expensive, 8099$ at the homepage, and why should every single drum shop be in US??!! :O

  • That is by far the best kit ive heard on here yet.

this and those Upper level Pearl drums

  • Those drums sound amazing!!!!!!

  • wow that sounds really great

  • I wanna hear it in person.

  • You should take a trip to Memphis and check it out.

  • @memphisdrumshop I live in Kansas. Lol.

  • That wood is , set drum .... That snare drum is , that wood

  • yea but think about it, these are solid shells. its 1 ply because they took a wooden plank and steam bent it round, so they are probably as thick if not thicker than most 5 ply drums....and there is no resin adhesives or laminants that get in the way of the true sound of the drum :)

  • literaly?

  • its simply cut straight from the trunk of a tree, so the shells are still as thick as most other drum shells but its a solid shell, not made of multiple plies glued together

  • Yes, 1-ply shells.

  • wow!!! amazing sound

  • except these aren't italian

  • i'll rather buy a car and stick with my yamaha

  • Ah, Craviotto: Beautiful...sonorous...classy...overpriced.

  • @drumrnva Beautiful drums, but not any better than DW....

  • @johnnylarue1 consider the material. Craviotto SPECIALIZES in solid shells that are 1 ply. WAY different sounding than most multi-ply DW's

  • Nice resonant drums. I would buy them if I had the dough.

  • does anyone want to give me 8000 dollars so i can buy this??? :P

  • I have a Craviotto Ash snare. Phenomenal drum.

  • Craviotto is the best of the best!!!

  • They sound a hell of a alot bigger than they look.

  • ohh!!!! someone slap me!!!

the kick and the snare stimulate me

  • my drum set doesnt sound like that lol its the same sorta lol but the caps arent white there clear? does that mean anything?...and does it just need tuned?

  • by caps do you mean skins? and if yours are clear that means he has changed his. Also tuning your drums is a great idea.

  • i want it!!!

  • 1 ply as in solid shells..not layers of plys glued together.. gives a different sound.

  • 1 ply shells? Wtf?

  • LOL... what's 1 ply shells? (I'm only 12 and have been playing for only a year and a half).

  • A multi-ply shell is constructed of multiple layers glued together. A single ply is a drum made close to the same thickness, but with only one ply. The wood has to sit in a steam box much longer than the multiple plys so it can be flexible enough to round it into a drum.

  • wow.

  • sounds good
