This is horrible i know when you cover a song you don't want to be exact , but come on you don't switch the verses around and leave one out just so you can fit in a fucking solo. It makes your band look retarded, Jimi was about the feel and the music and the lyrics not just soloing. I think you failed in representing him , you were supposed to put your feel in in not fuck up the song holy shit i can't even find the words to express. I would be ashamed if i did a cover like this.

thanks for the comments and the SG is a Gibson SG standard. It is Josh's main axe now although earlier vids he was playing a gibson sg special which he traded off for the standard

Like I said on your other video, you guys are learning and are very good. I noticed you played the intro with different notes...why is that? The dissonant cords really do sound better...unless it's just your style of playing thats different...I'll shut up.

we welcome comments good and bad as long as it is constructive. The band takes the music very serious and wants to get better. As for the intro: band tries to change up a bit on all their covers instead of just playing it exactly like the originals to keep things interesting.

yep, Josh sold off his SG special to free up some cash for his 72 charger. The balck SG standard in this video is his main axe.

nah, it was just a gloss black Gibson special. The strat Michael is playing in this one is his main axe... a recent american deluxe strat. Some vids you will see Michael playing a sunburst strat... that one is an older strat he is borrowing from Josh (SG player) Dad.

Josh is the guy on the SG and black is his favorite color for guitars. He has a gibson SG standard and Gibson SG special both in gloss black.

I am not a drummer, so I don't know if his technique is bad, but I like his sound which is crisper than most drummers. He seems to be going for the Steven Copeland type of sound, not the Mitch Mitchell powerhouse crap. Works better this way.
