  • i have written 247 lines so fa and nothing has made me cry....this is getting frustrating!

  • Apparently my purpose in life is to find my soulmate.. that made me cry but how is that a purpose?

  • Thank you Darren!

  • HEY YOU GUYS....check this site I found today : " theonequestion " the above advice did NOT work for me at all , I tried it first... if ur purpose is very uncomplicated, this exercise might work~!~ but for MOST we need some solid questions

  • Thank you for sharing this.

  • It is true, I tried it, line 21 made me cry, well, I had tears running in my eyes. Thank you for helping me find my purpose. I actually sort of already knew it. But now I need to clarify and specify it.

  • I would like to travel around the world and draw pictures of every place I passed by. but I SUCK at drawing. but even though i learned it, I Wouldnt have money to do it

  • found mine at like 230 well i think it is but i feel there still more to it i dont know but will eventually cool

  • "that you may not have purpose at all! which is absoultly ridiculous cause every one has a purpose"... made me laugh cause it is such an eye opner too so many people once they realize this.

  • What a douche bag. You make this video and you haven't even tried this useless advice.

  • could you give examples of things will make you cry?

  • I want to find my calling, but I'm scared as hell. lol

I thought my purpose was to be a musician, and it's not making me cry.

This makes sense, and I need to do it. Just afraid. lol

I hope my calling doesn't involve me putting down my guitars...

But before I waste my time and money chasing things that might not be my calling...I think I should try this, and continue to try this.

  • Cool, Just thinking about it, "to bring justice to this world" was a mini-surge for me, I think...but I sooooo don't want to be a lawyer or a cop! lol. I'll have to try this later.

  • Hey Rich, I don't know if you've discovered your purpose in life since posting this video, but you might want to consider that it involves helping others. You look like a nurturing person. I could be wrong, but consider how much you get back from giving advice or helping someone through issues. This video is a testament to at least part of who you are.

On my part, I think I discovered my purpose yesterday listening to a band that, lyrically, talks about justice. I came close to crying.

  • a demon killer omg to fight with the angles i cant w8 to die

  • thank you! i have found it. I had to ask myself many times. there were so many doubts and not sure what i wanted and what made me feel happy.

I cried a lot and then smiled!

We should quit what we are doing if we don't like it no matter what and go ahead and do what we really makes us happy (i.e. what we enjoy. Joy!)

Thanks again to share this and good luck.

  • Curious as to what your purpose is.......

  • You're adoraable! Thank you!

  • How can you call yourself Rich Dream Teacher and admit that you are afraid to find out your purpose in life? I'm a big fan Of Steve Pavlina because simple because the guy knows what he wants and that post is his best. If you are in the self improvement field I thing that you know your purpose.

  • After I saw this movie, I did it. And my purpose is:

Be happy, live a fantastic life, have a great fun to me, help and inspire others.

    That's it.

And your's, have you already found it?

  • Thank you!

  • There is nothing to fear. Thank you for the advice.

  • I commend you on admitting that the reason you haven't done the exercise is out of fear of disrupting your current course. That took a lot of courage, and I rarely see that kind of self-honesty.

  • well thank you

  • "Even Liberals"? - Bite me.

  • yeah that distracted me for the first half of this vid. worth doin if u dont kno i suppose. im purdy sure i kno mine but i wonder if you can like, fine tune ur purpose? prolly. i dont have it in phrase form.

  • YESSSSSSSS......especially liberals

  • @RichDreamsTeacher That was kind of corrosive. I don't believe that such questions should be implicated with such petty things as name calling. Thanks for intending to help others though.

  • @RichDreamsTeacher I'm rather puzzled and intrigued by your liberal humor. Did I miss the punchline? Not sure if you are laughing at liberals because you are not one or because you are. Funny either way...

  • i did discover mine...living somewhere far away from human beings and meditating somewhere by myself and giving up everything in order to find the truth for humanity.get them out of religious, racial differences...

but tht is not gonna be accepted by my parents as they want me do graduation n be a doctor ..so i can't persue my true purpose

  • there is always a way.

  • dude, thats like what ive been trying to do forever. this sick society makes me want to live where humans havent destroyed. the wild is the only true pure, unevil, peaceful place left on this earth

  • @americanhitchhiker That's what I want too!

  • @realslimshaddyy Dear Slim, You obviously care about your parents and their feelings. Graduation never hurt anyone and any scholastic achievement is better than none, especially when you are planning life and career goals. I can't think of any reason not to graduate or how graduation could prevent your life's purpose. After you graduate, however, mom & dad will have to accept you as an adult, assuming you are of age. Then you MUST follow your destiny because to avoid it is suicide.

  • I've taken notes and am going to do this.

I did get an answer years back that actually made me cry.

It came up out of no where in conversation and I didn't quite understand it.

I hope I didn't lose it, and wonder if it's still there.

I will recognize it for sure.

I'm curious to see what will come up and out of me.

Thanks for the reading and your honesty.

  • Wow thanks......Keep helping people out :)

  • I want to be a drummer. I havent done the list and I havent cried about being a drummer but I feel very passionate about music. I love music and I lover percussion. I also gave it up a little bit fallin out of the highschool band and i want to buy a drum set but money issues are rough.

  • I liked the self dialogue at the end. It goes to show that there is truth to emerge, and fear of that truth is something I think we all can relate to. Thanks. I'm afraid of a lot of things, and this is what I hope to get passed. When I do this (soon) I will let you know what happens unless it's too private.

  • Hi.I enjoyed your video.I was surprised you hadnt done the technique yourself!I went to my garden, meditated for 10mins and then started writing my list.I got to answer59 and cried my eyes out! To be the greatest guitarist in the world.I was 16 when I saw a band called Thin Lizzy and knew that I wanted to be a guitarist.I then heard Eddie Van Halen and knew I wanted to be as inspiring and great as him.(It was 1979 I am now 44)The thing is I kind of gave up on myself 10years ago.Its never too late

  • @ANDYRMURRAY Check out my guitar videos

  • Kia ora

he pai te korero penei ana ahakoa kei te kotiti haere etahi korero. Interesting delivery. People will take what they will. A little presentation feedback. Loved the piece untill the last self dialogue created a break in the flow. Up to then, very useful.
