@ApostlesoYahwehUnite This trumpet player is great. She is not mechanical, and she puts so much of her passion into playing the instrument that I have loved for 60 years.

I love Ms.Balsom, and she recently brought a son into this life. I hope that she, her husband, and her son have more sense than to love the idol you so inappropriately mentioned. May they follow the faith of Newton, and the founding fathers of the US. If they do they will continue to create great things.

@Flossferry Hallo Flossferry. I am not a Fan from Piccolotrumpet: BUT she sounds great much different to many many other Piccolotrumpetplayer. This Music is written in Original for Naturaltrumpet (without Holes). I study this in Schola Conatorum Basiliensis. Its nice to hear that a modern Trumpetplayer watch for the right Articulation and Phrasing and dont play to much! Greets from Germany!

It is very easy to over-play this number on trumpet to focus on the attacks. Alison plays it with a beautiful soft understatement. So well done.

What I like about Alison Balsom is that she says she wants to make the trumpet a lyrical instrument, and she succeeds in that aim but without falling into the trap of playing it like a cornet. A top musician in my view.
