  • Get Magic Lantern and turn AGC off.

  • if you haven't all ready you should get the magic lantern hack for the 60d it will help with the audio because it gets rid of the auto gain control. so you can get rid of the annoying hiss sound with the audio

  • does it work with t3i ?????

  • Get a boom pole.

  • @nate12roxs Ya i made one a couple of months ago

  • From what I can tell, this really is an outdoor mic.

  • Hissssssssssssssssssssssss -__-

  • Hy, I can see that this mic has a mono plug - and I have a canon 60D - it says that the audio conection it's stereo, will I have any problem with this? (excuse me for my bad english)

  • @gabrielcardenasphoto you shouldn't have any problems. We used it with the 60d and it worked fine

  • @gabrielcardenasphoto You will have sound only on one side either Left or Right because it is a mono microphone.

  • @michael1980123 you can buy a mono to stereo adapter for 3 or 4 dollars

  • @iTechProHD Yes you can...or just do it in post

  • @iTechProHD what i like to do is shotgun into left and lavalier into right. then mix them in post

  • @michael1980123 that works to

  • I had that mic and trashed it. F*ck me!

  • what is difference between normal and tele mode???

  • How will this mic sound with extremely loud low frequency noises? I need one for my car stereo and was wondering if this would be the one.

  • @The28thSundown I'm pretty sure it will pick up low frequencies

  • LoOL "windscreen slips on nice and easily" you had some mega trouble getting that on acually, my atr6550 screen just slips on like its ready to ground pound a whore :)

  • @lextacy2008 LOL I said that on the voice over and later realized my fail when i was trying to put it on

  • Thanks Helped Alot:)

  • What microphone would you recommend for filming people performing music?

  • @TheClayster1138 The Rode video mic is a good one. Blue microphones are also really great!

  • Thanks for the review! Very helpful! You are doing a great job! :-D Although the sound might not sound very satisfying, it did isolated the background a little but (because it's directional, not dynamic mic). Cheers for the video, mate!

  • You have a nice hosting voice, slow and clear. Good job for this channel mate.

  • @aaaaaamad1 Thanks man!

  • Hi, pls, how you put the microphone on the canon 60d, i have canon and this microphone and its not possible...

  • holy shit, it's a young Apu

  • That sucks mate, you can hear more the hiss than yourself.

  • @hotgypsylips You're not going to get amazing quality with a $50 mic. You can also get rid of the hiss with the correct editing software. It's good for small youtubers, but it's definitely not for professional productions

  • you certainly know your camera's, and your reviews are funny and straightfoward, SUB!

  • @bennyboytx Thanks man!

  • does it plug in directly to the camera? do you need to have a converter of some sort? i have the same mic and for some reason it doesn't work plugged in directly to the t2i but works fine when plugged in to my laptop

  • @decapitatedbangus I just plugged it into the 60d and powered it on and it worked. You shouldn't need any converter.

  • @iTechProHD so i guess the input plug on my t2i is busted. damn. thanks for the reply!

  • @decapitatedbangus That sucks dude! Sorry to here that

  • " it slips on nice and easily"

  • 0:45

  • Nicely done! Good job on editing!
