if you haven't picked up Max's book "Republican Gomnorrah" I highly recommend it. ESPECIALLY if you identify as a Republican. The prudent, sober, little "c" conservative approach to government has been tossed out in favor of Christian theocrats and dominionists. these people are DANGEROUS, folks.

Scarborough is doing a disservice by trying to compare far left wackos--who have almost no voice in the Democratic party and no media presence to the far right wackos who seem to have taken over the Repug party. As long as they try to draw that comparison they won't recognize that the far righters are really dangerous.

The comparison between the "truthers" and the 9.12 people is that the "truthers" have not taken over the Democratic Party and unlike the 9.12 project, not all truthers are Democrats, many are rightists as well.
