If memory servers from 17 years ago...we never know Adam's background. They have the ability to teleport and the alien craft becomes their lair.

Yes and no, this is part one of the tomorrow people VIDEO. There were lots more episodes aired on TV over a few years if I remember correctly.

They all end up at the ship because it acts as a magnet to teleporters who have not yet developed their intentional skills and cant control where they want to go yet, hence it becomes their secret hideout.

The ship was obviously crashed but I don't recall ever finding out about its original owners.

The book was actually so much better than the movie. They changed the story around way too much. I don't think of Jumper as imitating the Tomorrow People but as a sort of evolution from it. The character in Jumper was nothing like any of the Tomorrow People.

How true. It's sad that these youngsters think the 90's version is good when they missed out on the original 70's version. Remakes are never as good as the original. The 70's version is timeless, the 90's version is easy to date with the bad directing, bad dialog, canned music and cartoon effects.

you are correct, but that was actually a 5 part episode series when a mosquito bit one of them and was poisoned and the rest of them had to find a cure for him and stop a doctor and her 2 twin female cohorts who was responsible. This was very cool show that was on Nickelodeon. The suck part was it had saga's and it aired on Sundays and you would have to wait a week for each part.

It's not their fault though. If you pay close attention a lot of the shows they aired were actually shows aired in Canada and Nick somehow got the reruns (not saying Tomorrow People was but ya never know). So that's why they didn't really last.

I have only just discovered that they made a remake of the 70's series. How could they? I was very young when I watched the original TV series, and it gave me nightmares. And I loved it for that. The opening sequence was terrifying. I genuinly pity these youngsters nowadays for not having programs like this, and a more darker version of Doctor Who, to shock their imaginations into stark relief. They are really missing out!!

It's the first transmitted episode of the 1990s remake. A pilot was made prior to this with a different boy playing Adam, but this was never shown on TV.

TIM, once again voiced by Phillip Gilbert, was used in the untransmitted pilot, but unfortunately not in the actual series. Roger Price thought that the spaceship was more mysterious if it didn't speak.

Even though it was not as successful as the original series and didn't even tie in as well. They could have included the connection with the original. The opening score was loose with the club beat, that is very out going. The second opening them is very much to the original. I thought the first season beat was cooler for the 90's.
