@JudgeB23 I had the pleasure of meeting Guy Carlton. He owned a fitness club in my hometown for a few years and I worked out there. He was one of the largest individuals I have ever seen. That dude was a beast. He was also a very soft spoken person - very cool. He died in 2001 though - RIP Guy.
@djerryanderson I trained at Carlton"s Gym. Guy was my first coach and got me started into oly lifting. He was a great man and I think about him every time I workout.
@JudgeB23 Were you in Normal, IL? That's where I met him. Back in the early 90's is when I was there. Can't remeber how long he owned the place - maybe 5 years or so.

I met Lee in 1980, and actually spared with him on his black belt test. He is a really great guy.

The footage shows Lee James @ 1976 Olympics in Montreal. He did 165+197.5=362.5KG and took 2nd place in the 90KG class.

I actually know Lee James in person. He's an amazing guy. He comes to the pool I lifeguard at. :)
