Cuba before socialism was actually ACCEPTING immigrants,lots of them from all over the world. Life level was much higher in 20s than in Europe. Health care? Half of Cubans are being aborted every year, by say. Before Castro Cuba had one of the lowest children mortality rates in the world. Castro robbed biggest amount of goods, wealth and industries in modern Americas history (by taking over Cuba), and where did it went?To hunger? Embargo? Yes, but not for US companies registered abroads.

What's so bad about socialism? I've been to Cuba and seen the good health service and education, not to mention the low crime levels there. When compared to the rest of central/south America Cuba is a success story.
