@SnappyJones13 it's not simply a Bob James sample over a drum track...you didn't mention the bass notes he added that play around the swinging bass note (a swinging D note to be specific) that's in the drums he chopped. Ridiculous...and pretty elaborate in terms of creativity. He has a sick mind to do that sh*t. haha. He turned it into a bass line so funky and natural sounding it doesn't sound "elaborate"...but it is. Masters make it seem easy. Listen from 2:25 and you'll see what I mean.
