He is completely right, there are a very select group of people who loved the movie, and really he is right the 'goth' kids are the ones who really loved it. I love it and I guess I fall under the goth category and I promote this movie to all my friends, so far only a select few of them have liked it but those that liked it have become huge fans.

I love Repo. I definitely compare Riff Raff to Graverobber for the simple reason that both characters were played by the perfect men in the films, who happened to be their creators. They are each respectively my favorite characters, and in my opinion, the best voices in the films. ^_^

Repo! is going to be our generations Rocky Horror Picture Show. They didn't have a big following at first either, and then 30 years later, look at what it became! Shows at the local theatre every Halloween, dressing up as characters throwing rice and chickens and stuffs. I <3 it all!

I very sincerely think that this movie can and will appeal to anyone who loves the kind of raw tragic emotion that this has. It's brutal, honest, insightful. I'm certainly not "goth", tons of my friends who LOVE this movie are not goth or particularly dark people, but this movie is beautiful. People will buy =) horror movies are gruesome and people go see them. Now there's smart gore with a plot line.

I love that he reinforces that Repo is an opera, because of people argue it isn't really, but I'm really familiar with many opera's and this works the same way in an operatic fashion. I just know that Repo's going to gain the cult status it so deserves.

It was definitely a special experience. Not only the music is great, being an artist myself, I can openly say that the graphic element of the film is brilliant. If you love modern illustration, definitely go and see it. Beautiful work.
