perhaps ur media failed to mention that Aba region and the epicenter of quake(sichuan is just east of tibet), wenchuan county have large populations of tibetans (16%). This means hundreds or even thousands of tibetans died in the earthquake. Its a time when tibetans and hans and the other ethnic grps come together as 1 united chinese.
