@wislok I think, my friend, if anything it is an abortion of a martial art, not an abortion of a sport. It is very succesful as a sport. It is likened to studying western boxing. You might be a skilled boxer, but you are programmed not to protect below the belt, so that makes it a castrated martial art as well.. that or expecting to bob and weave without someone chasing your head etc.. In my country they call korean arts karate though which makes it not karate as i consider it in my mind
