Open the hi-hat, and loosen the screws to the cymbals, that way they will feel more real.

And get a drum chair, it's much better to play on those :)

Hey man, I really love your covers! I just have one question about the kit, I hope you don't mind. How is the ''Machine Gun'' effect on the snare? Is it really bad, or is it not so noticeble? I'm planning to buy one of these this week, not this one though, but the DD-505 II. And also, can you have the hi-hat half open while playing it, you know, like they're touching just ever so slightly. Thanks in advance. Good job on Chop Suey btw!

Continuous hi-hat control not supported. Only closed and opened states.

@RewersXP Machine gun efffect is when you hit the snare fast, like sixteenth notes, it doesn't sound realistic, but more like a machine gun, like the M4 in GTA IV.. :P I saw you were also into gaming.. And I think i'm gonna get the DD-506 anyway..

@TheJesseMusic That is caused by a lack of multisampling. You could get yourself an Alesis Trigger IO for a good price, get rid of the chinese brain an send MIDI to a PC, EZDrummer has randomized slightly different hits for every sound. Machine gun gone.
