  • Haha you made me giggle when I heard the K3 bit ;) Otherwise a briliant cover! Lovely interpretation!

  • @Emma8887 heel erg bedankt! :)

  • Hey, amazing cover again, just wondering the link to that song that was in the middle is dead, can you give me the name of the song please, I'd quite like to learn it :D

  • @flookie07 haha, I gotta say: it's a stupid song for children, I doubt you'll like it... :D you will recognize the melody, nothing more... Link is restored!

  • Hi! Very beautiful piano cover!! Do you have the pianosheet? :)

  • @RickyS87 I'm sorry, I don't make sheets, I only play :)

  • @tommekentom :) Do you use the original chords (in arpeggio)? I want to learn it!!! Can you give me some advice? Thank you!! Sorry for my english :)

  • I think this is pretty much how I think he composed it. I like this kind of version much better than the original The chorus always has that kind of heavenly sound to it. I think the metal kind of sound of the original kind of kills the beautiful chord progressions .

I must say i still think the transition from the chorus back to the verse, after the first chorus , sounds a bit bit unnatural to me. Like it's not the same key (i'm not sure actually).

    Well played! and imaginative idea

  • @PowerRedBull Thanks man!

The 'unnatural' part, you mean the chords at 1:30? Actualy that second chord is not really one that belongs to the key (D minor), indeed. What I play is Dm and Bb7. Dominant seventh chords are special ones, they are mostly used for transitions to other keys, but that's not happening here, it stays in Dm. Actually Bb7 is a chord of the Eb-key! Anyway, I play the same chords as matt does, and I think they're wonderful :)

  • Brilliant cover, I love your interpretation of it, sounds so wonderful on piano ^__^

  • @flookie07: thanks! Matt Bellamy once said that he wrote this song on the piano, so I started searching how it could have sounded like :) maybe something like this, who knows ;)

  • Any chance you could show me how you play the arpeggios that follow the chorus, where the guitar rhythm gets really heavy?

  • @westboarder: the part at 1:40? Or before that :)

  • @tommekentom Yeah. 1:20-:140 :D

  • @westboarder Well... I'm very bad at tutorials :D maybe I can give you the notes? But I'm quite busy at this time...

  • @tommekentom wow anything would be helpful, im playing this in the school band and im expected to just learn the arpeggios (which i cant do because of my double jointed pinky :( ) but if you could give pointers for fill-ins that would be amazing :)

  • Wow, I really enjoyed this piece.

  • Dômo! :)

  • .. Was that Japanese? haha.

  • I tried ;)

  • that was done extremely well.

    GREAT JOB :)

    Bedankt!

  • I actually shouted the same when I saw that you commented it! I had promised another muse-vid, remember :-) really thank you Jess! x

  • Hehe :P Like I said before, several times- I love seeing new vids from you online, you're such a talented pianist, there should be more!! haha! I'm now listening to this for the fourth time in a row- any chance I can get an audio file to download of this? I'd love to add it to my media player playlist hehe- tis the perfect type of song to listen to when writing, and I write fiction as a big hobby :P

  • Heel erg mooi ^^
