Wow, they look great! This will be the next game I buy (Im on a budget at the moment having spunked a load of dough on imports) - there are som great 360 games out there for cheap; I just got Lost Oddesy for £5, Blue Dragon as well! O_O Actually a mate of mine got the PS3 God of War 3 for £10 second hand! I really hope companies don't lock out second hand buyers in future.. :(

Very nice designs! I immediately get the great Golden Axe feeling. However, it is a bit sad that Ax=Battler and Tyris=Flare are fighting each other. They are friends, right? They are just practising, right? And I would have recognized Tyris=Flare even more if she had finished the fight by throwing up a number of blue magic potions in the air, summoning a major fire=breathing dragon.

I wish that Sega could come up with a re-booted Golden Axe game for next gen systems with characters that detailed! Especially Tyris Flare...

Sounds good except for three minor details:

- Would you prefer another side-scroller or an action-rpg?

- Should the characters from Revenge of Death Adder and the Genesis/MegaDrive Golden Axe 3 also be selectable?

- Should any other characters and/or features be added?

There are a lot of ways that one can build a sequel but it would take more than programming knowledge and 'clever design decisions' (plus *plenty* of playtesting) to develop a worthy entry/successor. (SEGA AGES, anyone?)
