Totally unique artist on the drum kit. He changed the way a lot of people approach the drum kit ever since he came on the scene in the late 70's and by his playing with Brecker Bros, UK, Zappa, Missing Persons...etc.
A true master at his craft. What I like about Terry is the humility that he possess. All within the light of such enormous talent. This is what it means to solo. What treat to watch, listen, learn and enjoy. Thanks for sharing.
@9874diego Aaron Spears is a gospel drummer. Gospel is a COMPLETELY different style. If you don't find anything entertaining here, then it's obvious that you need to pay more attention to what's actually going on. This is musical as hell.
What trips me out about Bozzio is when he gets on his monster kit he sounds like "skink, donk, boink, rata-a-tat, splink, doink." Then when he gets on a normal kit HE RAPES THE HELL OUT OF IT. HE DESTROYS IT AND KILLS IT! He should just stick to 6-8 piece kits and blow the doors off the percussion industry...
@JoeJacari I have been a bozzio fan for years since i saw him w frank zappa in the 70s ,and with bands like UK and he s been ripping since way back,his catalogue is massive,did u ever hear the album guitar shop by jeff beck he kills it from the late 80s and what about steve vais solo album w bozzio it kills ,so he has done that many times.I love tery hes is my absolute fav drummer

That's the best sounding DW kit I ever heard. He must have tuned them a special way. DW drums usually sound like cardboard. he's getting a really resonant sound out of them. like a Simon Phillips sound. Bozzio is a bad ass. I saw him in clinic

Still the most Elite of drummers alive on planet earth. When Mike Mangini lists Bozzio as on of his biggest idols then you gotta take notice. Terry took the bar and raised it out of almost all human reach. There is a very good reason why he's got an illuminating 'Moon tan' going on! The guy sat deep underground for years honing his shit. \m/
