its like your describing a bad lay....i guess in terms of reaching 'climax' the show is going to leave alot of viewers disappointed most likely - i hope not though, smallville is a good show overall, hope the ending is a good one...
if you want that you have to watch season 8 /9/10 that when in my mind
they kick the show to a hole new level and if you have read the comics than you must now there are different universes smallville is one fo them but in stead of being
all a guy that fly in a sute it from a boy its more real becose he does not and he has to learn about his destiny if you live in the uk then you can watch season 9 on e4 on tueseday if you want the superman :)
Trouble with Smallville is that the show has no direction anymore. i understand all the producers and stars not wanting those heft paychecks too end but for quality of the show Smallville has to either end what you call the floor play of Clark becoming Superman or reboot the series retitled it and let him have adventures as Clark aka Superman a young Superman living in Metropolis and working at the Daily Planet already!
