It is not possible to have trains going at speed of Maglev or TGV in India at this time. There are millions of people and animals on the tracks at any given time. If you notice in Japan or France, they separate the rail lines well away from the public and animals.

In terms of proximity to people, Indian trains are the most scary for sure

carriages are of standard size, they let 72 people get sleeping place.

If you see 2 high speed train in india, you'll see they cross much more faster than this one, they come with a wind tunnel kinda effect, vroooommmmmmm

You must not be a native Indian. lol Well, there are various reasons for that, Absence of automatic doors (not practical in India, because of high volume), and it is not practicle to expect the people to close the doors before a suburban train departs (only 30 second stops). The conductors do close the doors on long distance trains on certain occassions, but even then the shortage of manpower makes it difficult. Every type of enforcement takes MONEY and resources.

In July i took Mumbai Rajdhani 2952 4rm New Delhi 2 B'bay.. D new LHB coaches and their toilet were really very sophisticated in comparision to conventional trains..

Der were no hole in d loo and it was quite more spacious too..

However Indians have to learn to flush the loo after use.. many usually don't do dat.. thankfully we indeed ensure to wash r hands wid soap after use..
