The next closest is at least 20 hours, if not more.
To define a hardcore game in one sentence - it is very hard to find way to play it but once you do, you will be rewarded a thousand more times than in case of any casual game. Solid Snake and Final Fantasy count with one eye closed, so you win! Enjoy. What I am afraid of is that my view of consoles is still grim.

Second, you don't need such expensive processors, since lower-end ones like Core i3-2100 and Phenom II X4 series do perfectly fine. And you don't need to match Intel to NVIDIA or AMD to AMD (the ATI brand doesn't exist anymore). I used a Intel processor and an AMD GPU for two years and it worked perfectly, just like a NVIDIA GPU works with either Intel or AMD processors equally.

They were pretty good and if he got a computer with what i recommended him he would enjoy good quality gaming. i3 isnt very good so id pick i5-i7. Yeah i meant AMD not ATI. Similarly, Core i3 processors are enough to play ANY game very well. Although faster processors do offer small advantages, you don't really need more than a Core i3 to run games at their highest settings.

COMPLEXITY means the time what the developer invested into development - this basically makes it non-casual and it includes mechanics. DIFFICULTY, the game does not necessarily have to be frustrating, but should reward the thinking tactical/strategic player and shold punish the casual gamer, includes balance.

It is even possible to plug an xbox controller in your PC, and it will be faster than on your xbox. So "controllers are better on consoles" couldnt be less true.

@algierssolja Consoles are just crippled PCs with locked software. The medium for a console is dying. The disc will fade in favor of direct to drive downloads. Consoles keep gamers seperated. Instead of everybody being able to play COD together you have to be "segregated" by your console master. The day for that is going to come to an end. One day we wil all be on the same platform, and the only platform for that is the PC.
Divided we as gamers will loose to the Manoply of the industry pricks

And even if you happend to only like those type of games, PC companies like razer make controllers which are far superior to those of xbox and playstation.

My dad gave it to me for my birthday and it costs like $3000 he even picked best motherboard and hardware for me. @OldShcoolGameNigga Your computer fucken sucks. I cursed because its that bad. I'd recommend +6GB RAM, i7 intel core pros or AMD six core pros +3.0 GHZ, and GTX460 or ATI Radeon 6850 or 6950. Make sure if your computer has a intel pros get Nvidia and if its AMD get ATI raedon. Btw id also recommend you buy a new computer because yours seems really outdated.

@TheWarPlanet Your recomendations couldn't have been worse. First, 4 GB of RAM is more than enough for gaming. Second, you don't need such expensive processors, since lower-end ones like Core i3-2100 and Phenom II X4 series do perfectly fine. And you don't need to match Intel to NVIDIA or AMD to AMD (the ATI brand doesn't exist anymore). I used a Intel processor and an AMD GPU for two years and it worked perfectly, just like a NVIDIA GPU works with either Intel or AMD processors equally.

They were pretty good and if he got a computer with what i recommended him he would enjoy good quality gaming. i3 isnt very good so id pick i5-i7. Yeah i meant AMD not ATI. Yeah any graphic card can work with any pros i knew that but before i thought it made it 15% slower.. (which i think that's wrong and they are just rumors) 6GB is better than 4GB but 4 is average so its not TOO BAD...

@TheWarPlanet Your recommendations were bad, because you're leading people to spending more than they actually have to. 6 GB is only better than 4 GB if you will make use of it all (which gaming doesn't), otherwise it's just a waste of money. Similarly, Core i3 processors are enough to play ANY game very well. Although faster processors do offer small advantages, you don't really need more than a Core i3 to run games at their highest settings.
