Love this song. I knew that Kele's not straight (he's bi, right?), and when I heard the song for the first time the imagery in my head was two boys. I wasn't actively thinking about it, but I guess my instincts were right.

It's not surprising. Do you know Franz Ferdinand's song "Michael?" It's one of my favorites by them. Also, in the best version of "Purple Haze" I've heard, Jimi Hendrix sings "excuse me, while I kiss that guy" instead of "kiss the sky."
