@JonesMOBGang 5 was always bigger than 3 ; in this case both have rear wheels traction ; the M3 ( e92 ) has a 4.0 litre V8 natural aspirated engine ( with no turbo or supercharger ) making 420 hp , might be coupe or sedan and feels sportier ; while the M5 F10 is a bigger and much heavyer ( almost 2 tons ) saloon , has a 4.4 litre V8 with Twin ( 2 ) Turbochargers making 550 hp and , sayd by a car reviwer ( i don't remember which ) , feels like Bugatti Veyron ( fast , but not much fun ) ...

@JonesMOBGang well if you have a family a m5 would probably be the ideal car, but its all a personal choice, either one would be a great car. i would say the m5 would be a bit faster than the m3 though with its v10 / V8TT

M3 = 3 series just sportier and a bigger engine (4.0 l V8 420 Ps)

M5 = New 5 series just sportier and a bigger engine (4.4 l V8 560 Ps)

The M5 is the newest car from the M Factory. The M3 is older but still rocks the Ring! I never drove a M5 so I cant tell you if the M5 or the M3 is more agil. But the M5 wins the 0- 60 time( M5 = 4,4 seconds M3 with DKG = 4,6 seconds)

@JonesMOBGang if ur talking about the E90/92 M3 vs F10 M5... about 130+bhp and 85lb-ft of different between the two... F10 M5 is a bigger car, bigger motor, forced induction. E60 M5 is way different too... and that's just the beginning.

M5 is a family saloon that has 4 doors and more seating room and has a bit more luxury than the m3. The m5 goes like hell for being a large family saloon. The m3 is a smaller more agile car that still provides you with luxury, but you can drive to a track and do very well in it.

@iyinzer thats lame! audi do the same with the 3.0tdi biturbo tdi with 313hp(google it) but its just outside. the play fake sounds with a 4.4 v8 is so gay. that engine should sound great without that shit

@jojajo2707 Well the problem is that the engine isn't loud enough in the cabin. But I bet with some aftermarket headers and exhaust, it will sound pretty nice.
