Varney's a bully who asks questions he doesn't want answers to and Weiner put him in his place.

I can't believe Varney tried to explain private insurance's 30% overhead as being a result of private insurance having to make up the difference doctor's lose by taking Medicare. I think we know what orifice Varney pulled that claim out of.

The truth of the matter is the bigger the pool the better the negotiaton power and the lower the costs for everyone.

And as for politicized, well, the NHS has near universal approval over here, whilst across the pond you have this political free-for-all going on. You tell me which system is politicized! I agree 100%. The NHS issue was so politicized that Churchill lost a landslide election 2 months after VE Day, but it isn't politicized now. Maybe that's a bad thing as there are a lot of things wrong with the NHS that might get addressed if our leading political parties disagreed on some big issues. I got angry with this interviewer because he made up some bald-faced lies, smearing our NHS, knowing full well he couldn't be called out by the guy he was interviewing. Disgraceful.
