Great musicians and very nice men..not stuck up,,,,cool dudes..why did not Columbia push this song after the success of Reaper....this was the perfect follow up for a second radio hit...BOC should have been on Atlantic....they would have been huge!!!
Totally agree Stryder. They have so many classics!! I'm a really young listener compared to most, I figure, but I really got into BOC when I was a teenager. Their songs just caught me and i've just become a larger fan as I've grown. Now I have to say, they're my favorite band. I have most of the albums in one form or another, and right now I'm collecting their vinyl records. Going to see them in a few days for the first time!
Thank you for this post. Great that they still play some of these "oldies" too (and I really like the more recent tracks too). Amazing band. Older members in their 60's now... I am just a tad younger, and their music is still totally relevant to me, which is not the case for many bands of the 70's/80's (even when they have sold many more CDs). Lastly, a message to "Classic Rock" stations' DJs: Could you wake up and play BOC, and not just Don't Fear The Reaper or Burning for you?
