  • mobile networks will always keep a 2G network alive.

  • what this shows is that 2G is the main network whilst 3G is just starting, so if you rely on or were signed up on the reliability of 3G in store you were lied to, this shows how underpowered the vodaphone network is, they still use the 2G network 2 thirds of the time while optus and telstra already have 3G and are switching to 4G, however optus 3G is hopeless.

Telstra coverage is good but setting up with them is harder as they rely on call centres in the Phillipines that are hopeless.

  • good to see logistics of mobile network

  • Nice video, never seen inside a base station before! :D

  • 3,000? you meant 3 right? :P

  • Wonder when the VodaFone network will actually evolve!!! 20kms from Melbourne, and poor to nil service and continual drop-outs are a common theme. When the plan runs out in December, I'm running out to find a new provider!

  • Please give us more updates about your network expansion, give us explanation why your vodafone signal strength and coverage have been so weak.

We, the customers, still disappointing about the services.

  • I love these geeky behind the scenes videos. Always would like to know whats inside a base station and how they operate

  • @tehtron that man. is the essence of sex-iness

  • @tehtron Actually, that man is my dad

  • This types of videos is great. Love to know about my mobile carrier. Keep them coming.
