Cobalt SS/SC Borla ZZP Exhaust.

i want a cobalt ss for my first car but not sure what do you think? and if not what should i get in the $25000 range?

@kingkopec69 i got my cobalt ss brand new when i turned 16 5 years ago. its been an amazing car and ive spent almost no money on repairs as its lasted well. for below 20 grand the best car in my opinion is an cobalt SS turbo. but if i had 25 grand to spend now i would look into a 2012 wrx

@OfficialUniq the sound is good, but its a cheap exhaust so the fitment is well pretty shitty. for about 100 bucks more get the slp exhaust if you want similar sound

@thehahnman05 houseofgrafx or something like that they are already cut for the cobalt. also get them 8" wide. they were like 75$ and i installed them myself.

were you satisfied with this exhaust? im getting one soon and want to go with this set up. do you have any engine mods too?

@06SS4Life it sounded good, but the fitment was really crappy and the quality wasnt that great hence why i got rid of it. but for header and dp zzp makes good stuff. cheapest option for catback is an axle back with muffler of your choice.

@smizzles716 best years are 2008-2010 models, but 05-07 are pretty much the exact same except 07 has nicer steering wheel. for headers, downpipe, and catback depending on what brand will cost you 800-1200$.

yo is that stock? it sounds beautiful. im picking up a 2007 ss tomorrow and trying to look for some nice exhausts. Do you have anything else like headers on that?

@Fizano55 i have zzp headers and zzp downpipe along with the catback. your best bet for a cheap exhaust is tsudo or megan or this, and for a little more gmpp, corsa, or ark are the best.

@billyjohnson777 Billy, hey I owned an SC Balt with the Corsa Catback. It had a deep sound and was not hard on your ears at full speed, but was only 2.5 inside dia. I am looking now for a three inch for my 09 LNF...is Agency comparable to Hahn?

@freebooter23 hahn is more quiet then AP, its honestly not much louder then stock. Both systems flow better then stock. If you plan on running more then 300hp go with MPX instead of hahn. IF your panning on not too many mods then go with AP as it goes from 3" to 2.5" so you wont loose any low end torque or power.

@b00sted06ss yep, but im cutting off the 3 bolt flange and putting a 2 bolt. so i will probably be the only ss/sc with this catback.
