Thanks for the video lesson! I was working on this song this weekend, and this will be very helpful. What kind of Strat are you playing there? Sounds good!
There's an old guy sitting at his kitchen table playing this song in Virginia thats very happy right now. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Just wonderful!
Great lesson, Larry! I love this song and usually just play it strumming an acoustic, but this inspired me to try some finger pickin'. I'd love to get you and my grandfather together for a jam. He plays a mean steel guitar.
I've always wanted to learn this song the way Burton played it. I have thought this is one of the coolest country guitar picking songs ever and never thought i would learn it. This was the best quick lesson i have ever had. Almost got it completely licked. Much thanks, Larry.
great lesson I've played it for years but some of my students could never get i got them to watch this and they were playing it in no time at all.thanks
I've watched your earlier video where you work out a bit on Working Man's Blues. Thanks so much for taking the effort to slow this down and walk us through the sweet little turns and phrases in this powerful song. Again, very nicely done. Thanks!!
I think this is one of the best lesson videos on utube! I was happy to find the other video of you just playing this song & when I saw that you was teaching it as well I was very excited. Awesome teaching job. Very nice!!!
Thanks for the visit and comment. This guitar is actually a Strat "copy guitar"
that I bought at a silent charity auction. It plays good.

Thanks ! The guitar is a foreign copy Strat, branded TRADITION. The color
I don't know, but I like it too.

Love that little bend lick transitioning into the D chord in the solo part. Really tasteful. I think I'll use that lick.
