@schmidt9018 그는 영문 이름이 없어요! 왜냐면 독일 사람이니까. 그리고, 한국인으로 귀화한 거면, 대한민국 국적 여권엔 당근, Lee(Rhee, Le, Li, Yi...) Cham(Charm, Tcham...),그렇게 적겠죠? 농담 던진 거에 너무 진지하게 답했나여? 제가 좀 GSOH가 부족하거든요...
His Korean is amazing and I would not diminish it by saying "intonation". What a load of crap. That is as near a native speaker a waegook can get. Too bad the acting SUCKS
i'm nowhere NEAR good at Korean but to me it sounds like it's something with his... rhythm? or the way he pronounces his consonants, which seems a little too pronounced or something. anyways, still amazing!
The thing about Korean people is, if your from another country, but can speak good Korean, they will be super super impressed haha. I'm sure alot of Koreans respect that actor for knowing how to speak fluent Korean , and acting in dramas.
This guy appears in korean drama from time to time and has a little bit of foreign accent still in him when speaking Korean though. If I am correct his Korean name is Lee Han Woo or Hoo.
@MaLDJoHsimy951: Come on, give the guy some credit! His accent is nearly PERFECT, and I'll bet it is surely better than your English accent. I don't think you'd find many native English speakers who would use that kind of disclaimer on a near-flawless foreign speaker of English. LOL Why is it that many Korean people get so self-conscious about foreigners speaking Korean?
Can I ask you a question? You mention the name Lee Han Woo. Korean people always have three names, right? Is it possible for someone to have the name Woo Woo Woo?
Korean people don't always have three names. First of all, there are last names that are longer than one word, such as Namgung, Sunwoo, etc. And there is no law or any sort regarding the name should be only two syllables. I have many friends with 2, 4, 5 syllable names. And..yeah it's possible for a Korean to have a name Woo Woo Woo. but..that';s a very weird sounding name lol..
it's interesting. Germans seem to have a good pronounciation ability in Korean. I just saw a documentary about a korean guy living in 담양 with his wife in Korea and his Korean is perfect and so was his teacher from Germany
His name is Lee Charm and he is German-Korean. Now he is working for Korean government.

his accent is flawless.
that's so hard to achieve.
koreans usually say that my accent sounds really japanese.
(the silliest thing is that japanese people say that my japanese has a thick korean accent)
