lol um btw instead of using bombs on the spinning dancing thing u can use your hookshot! thats what i did and it also brings the little guy straight to you so u can just hit it instead of running after it!

For 5:45 and up you didn't need to use any arrows. You could have just used a hookshot (which stuns it) then when you are close due to the hookshot quickly change and use the megaton hammer. The like like should be dead in two megaton hammer strikes. Also you have to run after each megaton hammer blow

the thing that eats you and takes your stuff ate me, but i saved while i was getting eaten... i died during that, so i loaded the file, and i had none of my stuff. i walked into the room, killed ithe thing, and my stuff wasn't there... am i screwed for the rest of the game since i don't have my fire tunic and my sheild? is there any way i can get them back?

Is New game the only way to go from this point... i do not want to go through all of the bullshit to get back to where i was... PLEASE HELP!

No, you do not need to start over.

You need to have 200 Rupees (If you can't hold more than 99, kill 10 Gold Skulltulas, then talk to the guy in the house in Kakariko Village. Go to the Goron Shop in Goron City and shell out 200 Rupees for another one. You can also buy a Hylian Shield in Hyrule Market (As a child) or Kakariko Village (As an adult)

u can buy them both.. u can buy the tunic in goron city and u can buy the shield at the bazar, where u normally buy the shield, as a kid, as a adult the shop is in kakariko village behind where that begger crap is

there is a free "hero shield" in the graveyard at the first grave with flowers. its turn into the hylian shield ion your inventory

Don't know if it helps or not now since your question is 4 months old, but yes you can get everything back. Go to Goron city (as adult link) and enter the shop on the bottom floor and purchase another tunic. For the shield, return to the Temple of Time and place the Master Sword back in the stone and go purchase one in the Bazaar in the Castle Town Market.

because i use the wii classic controller (best for Loz OoT) to run up the spiral to the megaton hammer, i just needed to tilt the control stick slightly to the upwards diagonal right, and i ran all the way up.

It was really hard for me too. First, take out the bat things in the area so they don't knock you off.

Before you hit the floor switch, line yourself up with the steps on the diagonal, centering the camera behind you. ALWAYS aim yourself to the outer edge of the steps, so if you fall over, you're at least still in the room. Every time the steps change directions, face the new direction, stop, centre the camera. Run. When you get to the chest, quickly hit A before the flames knock you back.
