Scheyer got the call he deserved. Those two players were absolutely raping him. Good form on that call, refs. game wasnt decided by this play alone and tech shouldn't have let the game come to this. the problem is that when Tech needed to stop the clock, the refs slowed on their quick whistles from earlier. Scheyer traveled at least a few feet and Tech fouled. but the amount of slapping that was done was no more than what the dookies do the whole way down the court every possession. of course Im biased about tech but the officiating was terrible the whole game both ways. its happened all year in the ACC

I used to love to watch Duke...with the help refs give them these days though, it's embarassing. This was one of two ABSURD no-calls on travelling by Duke within a week...and this one was game-altering, as well. I don't hate Duke, but I love basketball, and I really hate to see poorly officiated basketball, and to see teams so consistently benefit from it.

Scheyer is the only Duke player that I don't absolutely hate with a passion, but that should have been the easiest travel call ever made in the history of Naismith's game...Look where his pivot foot starts, it's a good 2 feet inside the paint. His first movement takes his left foot (the pivot foot) all the way outside the lane, and this is way before he's fouled. So to the Duke fan/student who posted this, buy yourself a Basketball For Dummies book. Hopefully you're not a lost cause already...

i was at this game and idnt see this clearly but the 6 or 7 complete flops for charges by duke were bogus. delaney drew the same flop charge on paulus the very next possesion and that was a no call. i dont care if flops are called one way as charges but AT LEAST call it on the other end. this was awful but i did see the elbow on singler which shouldve been called. the only difference was that the refs actually saw this play. duke fans can be the most blinded unknowledgable fans in basketball

VT was not trying to foul. Down by three in that situation you go for a steal, trap it when they do get it in and try to force a 10 second call, and then foul if they get it across. Refs dropped the ball on this one, which seems to happen WAY too often in dook's favor.

game wasnt decided by this play alone and tech shouldn't have let the game come to this. the problem is that when Tech needed to stop the clock, the refs slowed on their quick whistles from earlier. Scheyer traveled at least a few feet and Tech fouled. but the amount of slapping that was done was no more than what the dookies do the whole way down the court every possession. of course Im biased about tech but the officiating was terrible the whole game both ways. its happened all year in the ACC

The refs missed Singler getting elbowed in the neck earlier in the game, and missed the foul on the block when Scheyer went for the layup earlier in the game, they missed quite a few other calls as well, yes I do see the where he lifted his foot, you are right on that, but there were fouls there as well. Thompson shoved him as well into the other guy.
